The Indian Army has released the
notification for the 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme (TES) 54th Course, scheduled
to commence in January 2026. This recruitment drive offers a pathway for
unmarried male candidates to join the Army as Permanent Commissioned Officers.([Fastjob

Criteria
Gender & Marital Status: Unmarried male candidates only
Educational Qualification:
Passed 10+2 (Class XII) with a
minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM)
Must have appeared in JEE (Mains)
2025 
Age Limit: Candidates should be
between 16½ and 19½ years old as of the first day of the month in which the
course is due to commence. Specifically, candidates must be born between 2 July

Selection Procedure
1.Shortlisting:
Applications will be shortlisted based on eligibility criteria.
2. SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email
regarding their selection center and SSB interview dates.
3. Medical Examination: Candidates who clear the SSB
interview will undergo a medical examination.
4. Merit List: A final merit list will be prepared based on SSB
performance and medical fitness.
5.Training: Selected candidates will undergo training at the

Nationality: Candidates must be
citizens of India. Subjects of Nepal and persons of Indian origin who have
migrated from specified countries with the intention of permanently settling in
India are also eligible, provided they have the necessary eligibility
certificates issued by the Government of India.

Technical Entry Scheme (TES) 10+2 – Key Details

- Age: 16.5 – 19.5 years (as of the year of joining).
-Education: 10+2 (or equivalent) with PCM
(Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and a minimum of 60% aggregate.
- Gender: Male candidates only (as of previous
years).
2. Selection Process:
-Online Application (via

-Shortlisting based on cutoff marks.
- SSB Interview (5-day process including psychological tests, GTO tasks,
and personal interview).
- Medical
Examination (as per Army standards).
3.Training & Career:
- 1.5 years (Pre-Commission Training at Indian Military Academy (IMA),
Dehradun).
- 4 years (Technical Training at Cadet Training Wings (CTWs) and Military
Colleges).
-Commissioned as Lieutenant in theIndian Army (Permanent Commission).
4. Important Dates (Tentative):
- Notification: June-July 2025 (for Course 51).
- Application Window: July-August 2025.
- SSB Dates: October-December 2025.
5. Salary & Benefits:
- Stipend during training:- ~₹56,100 per month (as per 7th CPC).
-After Commission-: Starting salary ~₹70,000–₹80,000 per month
(including allowances).

(Officer Like Qualities), current affairs, and group tasks.- Physical Fitness:
Running, push-ups, and general endurance.
