Uttar Pradesh Home Guard Enrollment Bharti 2025

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has received a notification from the Home Guard Headquarters, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, to enroll Home Guards for a total of post. 41,424 vacant Home Guard positions across all districts. Enrollment for these vacant positions will involve payment of a duty allowance determined by the government from time to time. Currently, a daily duty allowance of ₹600 per duty hour is determined for each day of duty, as well as a dearness allowance determined by the state government from time to time.

Online applications are invited from candidates for enrollment in the following district-wise vacant Home Guard positions.

The enrollment process can be cancelled at any time or at any stage of the enrollment process without assigning any reason.

Eligibility

1. Persons with physical or mental disabilities and disabilities will not be eligible for enrollment in Home Guard positions.

2. For enrollment in Home Guard positions, it is mandatory that the candidate be a native of the district for which the reaction is applied.

3. Persons regularly employed in public government, semi-government, or public sector undertakings will not be eligible for enrollment in Home Guard positions.

4. Persons who have been relieved from their positions by the Union Government, any State Government, any local authority, or any State Government will not be eligible for enrollment in Home Guard positions.

5. Male or female candidates who have more than one wife or husband alive will not be eligible for enrollment in Home Guard positions.

Application Fee

The application fee for this enrollment process will be as follows:

₹400 for General Category/EWS/OBC candidates

₹300 for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates

Nationality

For enrollment, it is essential that the candidate:

be an Indian citizen, a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or a person of Indian descent who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, or any East African country, Kenya, Uganda, and the United Kingdom, formerly known as Tanzania, with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Educational Qualification

For Home Guard enrollment, the candidate must have passed the 10th grade from a board established by law in India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Examinations conducted by various examination bodies recognized as equivalent to high school by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education will be accepted for this purpose.

At the time of application, the candidate must possess the required educational qualification and submit the mark sheet or certificate. It will be mandatory to submit it along with the application. Candidates who have appeared or are appearing in the 10th class examination will not be eligible.

C Certificate Holders will be awarded 3 marks

B Certificate Holders will be awarded 2 additional marks

A Certificate Holders will be awarded 1 additional mark

Bharat Scouts and Guides Certificate Holders will be awarded 1 additional mark
