Apprentice (ITI): Must have passed ITI in the relevant trade from a
recognized institute. * For
Graduate Apprentice: Must have a Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) in the
relevant discipline from a recognized university. * For
Technician (Diploma) Apprentice: Must have a Diploma in the relevant
engineering field from a recognized institution.

4. Available Trades/Disciplines
ONGC recruits apprentices for a wide
range of trades. Based on previous notifications, the following disciplines are

For ITI Holders: Fitter, Electrician, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle),
Instrument Mechanic, Machinist, Welder, Draughtsman (Civil/Mechanical), etc.

The monthly stipend is as per the

6. Selection Process
The selection for ONGC Apprentice is NOT
based on a written exam. The process is as follows:

Shortlisting: ONGC shortlists candidates based on the percentage of
marks obtained in their qualifying examination (ITI/Diploma/Degree).
